Mounds View Public Schools (MVPS)

MVPS is located approximately nine miles north of the downtown areas of Minneapolis and St. Paul. Our district provides instructional services for children and adult learners. Those who live in seven different cities. Mounds View is among the largest districts in Minnesota. With six elementary schools, three middle schools, and two high schools. As well as one alternative school and an Area Learning Center. The District serves more than 11,000 students and employs more than 1,400 staff. Programs and services will be in place at all schools to ensure that race, gender, class and disability will not predict students’ success in our district.

MVPS is committed to preparing all students for opportunities of their choice after high school. Whether they choose college, a trade school, technical college, the military or employment.
